My Tethering Setup | Equipment List

Greetings earthlings! Here’s a breakdown of the photography equipment I’m currently using in my tethering setup.

My latest tethering gear additions have been the Tether Tools Aero Table and Impact Wheeled base stand. This combo of gear has been making a big difference in my overall work flow as well as my posture when I’m shooting.

If you’d like to learn more about what shooting tethered means or learn how to tether your Sony a7iii to Adobe Lightroom, then read this blog post.

Why I like it:

  • wheels are smooth and buttery and are easy to lock/unlock

  • large knobs make it easy to adjust height of stand

  • legs can fold up- great for moving through tight spaces and transportation

Why I like it:

  • large surface area

  • sturdy and reliable

  • compact and easy to transport

  • accessorizable

Cable Management:

(Don’t forget to protect your camera ports and cables!)

That’s a wrap for my current tethering setup equipment list. If you’re looking to upgrade your own tethering setup, I recommend looking into the TetherTools Aero Table and Impact base stand combination. The stand and laptop table have been kind to my back and posture. Instead of hunching down to look at a screen or monitor, I can raise my screen to be an appropriate height for my body.

As always, thanks for reading and please let me know if you have any questions.
